I went to the Williams F1 HQ at Grove for a presentation by the army about what they do. 
It was vastly over subscribed and they had to run two full sessions, 
possibly because it also included a visit to the Williams Formula 1 Museum.

Pier View was restored a few years ago, but it looks like somebody has been trying to nick the roof.
The rest of the derelict Birnbeck Pier in Weston-super-Mare has been closed off since a storm hit it in 1990.
A company called Urban Splash, who take on renovation projects others would not touch, bought the pier in 2006 and have put up their proposals, for redeveloping the pier, in the window of the Pier View visitor centre.
A notice says these were saxon hunting woods. The same can probably be said for a lot of these lands, but here in Shotover, near Oxford, you can still believe it.

It was a bit of a suprise to pop into Oxford and find Morris Dancers.
But then I realised it was the Oxford Folk Festival and there were thirty or more different morris groups dancing.
I did enjoy watching this dance called the Belligerent Bluejay! It ended with them all throwing away their sticks in a final frenzy.
